Module 16: Certificate Expiration Email

Setting Up Certificate Expiration Email

The Certificate Expiration module allows you to send an email to the users before their certificate expires. Here’s how to set it up:

• Navigate to LearnDash Advanced Toolkit.
• Locate the “Certificate Expiration Email” tab.
• On this page, you will find different settings.
  • “Days Before Expiration” -> Set the number of days the email will be sent before the certificate expiration

• “Email Subject” -> Type the subject of the email..

• “Email Content” -> The email content that is sent to the user. This field also supports three shortcodes which will show dynamic values.
  • Use {{user_name}} to display user name
  • Use {{course_name}} to display course title
  • Use {{course_link}} to display course link
  • Use  {{group_name}} to display group title
  • Use  {{days}} to display the days after which the certificate will expire

• “Run Cron Manually” -> Click on this button to test the email.

Note: This module only works when the Scheduled Reset module is active.
